Izjemno kompakten MAUI 5 tehta približno 11 kg, hkrati pa zagotavlja 800 W moči in največji SPL 120 dB. Podnožje nizkotonca in tridelni sistem stebrov, ki zagotavlja ojačitev zvoka z razširjeno pokritostjo in spremljanje se s prilagojenimi večpogonskimi priključki sestavi v nekaj sekundah. Mlajši član družine MAUI je najlažje prenosljiv in se prilega na vsak avtomobilski sedež.

V 8″ nizkotoncu se nahajajo tudi sistemsko ojačanje razreda D s prenapetostno, kratkostično in toplotno zaščito, lastna digitalna obdelava LECC podjetja LD Systems in 4-kanalni mešalnik. MAUI 5 ima tehnologijo Bluetooth za brezžično pretakanje ter mikrofonske vhode, vhode linijskega nivoja in vhode hi-Z, ki jih lahko uporabljate hkrati, in omogoča priključitev različnih virov, vključno s predvajalniki glasbe in instrumenti, kot so klaviature ali kitare.
